Its actually tanning, not lace that is the other skill required for sacks.


Awkward...time to fix the wiki

Also I blame my friend. He had me believe he had tanning and everything else but lace. So when I learned lace and gardening and had the options to craft it just made sense. So yeah not my fault

Skill Tree as of 2016:

I reserve the right to give somebody a Feather or the Brave or other nice present if they manage to artistically display these in a better way.

Have checked the whole skilltree and correcting all skills in Wiki.
Some Dependencies removed, some added.

Now all Skills unlocks and requirements should be correct!

Thanks JC again for that Skilltree.

But i have found a dependecy that makes no sense i think: http://salemwiki.info/index.php/Plantation_Management
Needs Cabbagegrowing, cottonplanting, maizeplanting and Pumpkinplanting for unlocking the skill.
But, Pumpkinplanting needs Cotton and Cabbage.... so you could set only requirement of Plantation Management for Maize & Pumpkin, because Cabbage&Cotton is still needed.

People, now we need help to check unlocked Buildings & Crafts for the skills.
There are still many requirements wrong or left on them! Especially newer items and buildings!

I am ok with some level of redundancy on the skills because at one time we had plans to implement SKillbooks. A way for players to scribe skills into a book that can be consumed by a friend as a means to 'skip' them to a particular skill and/or way to help out. In the end the balancing was a bit tricky but if we do decide to do that then it will be relevant to have skills require skills below them as its possible a player would have the middle skill through a Scribe.
