btw. there is no difference in the purity calculation between using a 0%-purity earth worm and an 0%-purity earth worm python

More maths?

So here is some datas form my worms/pythons and Eruldino pythons.
Everything is linear. But equations of worm impact and python impact are different. In fact (I don't show it here) Pythons are just 4 times more efficient than a worm. For example a 27.00 python (25+2) will produce same humus as a 33.00 worm (25+8).
Equations are not totallly exact because of rounded values (we only have 2 decimals) but the idea is here.

This is easy stuff because it's only one worm in the bin each time.

I tried to add 2 pythons in one bin, their contributions seems to add.
I need more work to understand what happens when you mix pythons and worms, and when you have 100% efficiency or when you don't.

And by the way, my apologies for a wrong statement, Newly spawn neutral worm in a bin will affect (and reduce) humus purity. I noticed that aswell.

Loving what you are trying to do;)

I have some data for 2 worms/pythons in a bin. If you need something else specific just ask,i am sure someone can get you some data.

1)Bin neutral,2 worms

W1: (34.87/62.57/1.10/1.46)
W2: (26.79/52.66/8.62/11.94)
H : 26,37 (for the merc element,i didn't write down the othres

2) Bin neutral,2 pythons (only the merc element)

P1 : (42.27)
P2 : (50.44)
H : (28.27)

Good luck:)

If you have a nice amount of samples available you should try plotting (humus - neutral)/worm_efficiency / (averaged_worms - neutral) related to purity multiplier of the averaged worms. To see just how much weight the worms have per efficiency point when purity comes into play.

Great going. We need the numbers for what happens at 100% efficiency with the mean values of the worms.

Ok, let me propose two possible formulas (without even bothering to test them before posting!)

Pessimistic:
Humus Purity = ( 0.4*(Bin Purity) + efficiency*(Worm Purity) + 1(Neutral) ) / (0.4 + efficiency + 1)

Optimistic:
Humus Purity = ( 0.4*(Bin Purity) + efficiency*(Worm Purity) + (1-efficiency)(Neutral) ) / 1.4

I'll go test these now, and contemplate the remaining problem of "How is the purity determined with a mix of Worms and Pythons?"

2 questions:

When you say worm purity do you also mean pythons?

How do you calculate the worm purity if there is more than one worm in the bin? You add them?

Thanks

add the various alchemical values of all worms/pythons and divide by the total number of worm/pythons. I at least think that's how it works in terms of how they average.
