imo being able to build on a claim should only apply to claim owner and an option on the claim stone to permit building.

i know that wouldn't stop someone from building something on the outside of the claim but at least that will decay.

No because my toons are only under 20 in the 1st 3 mins. This problem also doesn't happen that often with how many mats you need to gatther to grief.

Most people don't start in fully developed villages, me starting by myself at least took a few days, although I assumed you were exaggerating when you said '3 mins'

With a fresh harvest yeah im being serious but starting fresh it would take a couple hours.

Still someone wanting to gate you in needs to spend some time to gather all the materials. I don't think i've seen much of any of this type of griefing

Maybe for someone experienced... my character took a couple weeks of playing and is still barely into the 30s. I'm not even sure what to do to get higher. And I'm guessing with the change to walls that was just made, walling people in is going to be very popular soon. I can't even fix the mistake I made on my wall yet.

Expanding your claim beyond the Walls and placing construction signs next to the corner posts are a few things you could do to deter this.

Why would that not be put into the game? Anyone can come by and build from them.. That needs fixed asap..

Signs wouldn't help much. One whack with a bare fist and they're gone, basically.

signs would trigger braziers, and if you have stone walls without braziers you are doing it wrong.
