Started playing mid-November.
For many weeks game ran great and I never crashed.
Ever since the Forestry build I have been crashing from multiple load screens + memory leak.
Game is virtually unplayable with default UI so I'm stuck with Enders.

So talk to/with Ender. Give him your error reports or nothing will change.
It's not default client fault
If you are running from run.bat then try giving your game client more starting and max memory. 1024 works fine for me while 512 makes me crash every 15-30mins while traveling.

Well, Java doesn't have memory leaks, but client written in java may.
I have not experienced problems like this with default client, so maybe it's Ender issue indeed
