I would go into your add/remove programs and remove all versions of java and then re-install. Make sure you re-install from IE and not google chrome. I had similar issues but I kept getting a white screen and not a black screen. This fixed it for me. I also updated my video drivers not sure that helped though.

Might be totally unrelated, but when I started to play salem in 2012, I had the same issue & this fixed it for me:

How is what i suggested off topic? I had the exact problem he had sometimes with was black screen sometimes with was white. Game would load fine but all it was was black or white screen. I had 3 different versions of java installed. Removing them all and then rebooting and re-installing the latest version fixed it.

I don't know what to uninstall , and damn 3 java that ***** up your pc dude . I don't know if this is important/good or no but H&H works fine.

Not very likely if the screen is completely black rather than a loading-screen.

The only way I can think of for debugging this is for Safou to get a thread dump of the client process while it's being black.

I'm not from Russia , and if you are interested I live in the north of africa . And the internet here is always s*** .

Sorry , but you want me to do what ? bc I opened it with notepad and all I can see is 2000 lines filled with weird stuff.
