Video: how to hunt march hares wihtout bleeding (low biles)

Is bullrun effective to initiate?

i never tried, i got this little delay/lagg when the march turns, plus my reaction time, so i kind of have to spam the stomp hotkey at first, but i guess bullrun-thrust could work well.

does anyone think than using a halberd to hunt those with a LOW BILE character would be more 'efficient' and 'easy' for a new player??

Halberds are easier for new players to hit with and use less YB per attack but do much less damage so they are probably better off using a sword.

Good video and initiative. I also vote for the sword, because the halberd has a bigger area of effect and for new players with low biles, inexperienced in hunting, accidentally hitting another monster can happen while dodging (it was my case, you can laugh).

And looking at this and reading this thread I belive that my thoughts about hunting bears with an 100 biles alt with a halberd and only using cleave is a BAD idea

Oh well i believe halberd is great for rabbits, but for a bear yeah u better get a sword, bullrun-thrust-thrust even with 100biles, with some practice u will never lose black bile/ red bile if you do it properly, only very few yellow bile so its great ^_^
