Best way to deal with a theif?

Postby Redcoats » Tue May 23, 2017 11:27 pm

Hey everyone :).

Last couple of days ive had some guy come onto my base and steal a few things. Whoever it was could take a little brazier fire, but i have managed to collect 12 larceny scents. Im not a very high leveled character so what would be the best way to deal with this? Should i just back to back stockade them or hire someone to get them for me? Their homestead is just outside boston, in a large collection of player claims and villages. If i remember correctly, the place as called heffernans butt or something.

thanks for any help!

The best way is to prevent it from happening again. Get decent defences and keep less valuable things.
Breaking your defences should cost more than items a thief can loot are worth.

Thanks for the advice! Have already started making improvements :). Just so you know, i got lucky when i jailed the thief with scents, the blood moon hit a couple hours later and must have killed him with madness :).

You were lucky ¦]
Keep in mind a large part criminals are throw away characters. No much harm done but at least you had fun.

Throw away character or not there is harm done to the criminal. They invested time and at least some resources into a character. To say that OP didn't do anything other than entertain himself isn't exactly correct.

If the criminal knows his trade it was no more than a slap on a wrist.
BTW a new batch of blood shards is hitting the market right now.

There are easier ways to raise your CnD than blood shards. :P
