Hydrukey dookie

What is it actually for? I picked some up while on a hunting trip and found that it could not be placed on my fields. More over, I checked the wiki and all that says is "It is dropped by hydrukeys as they walk around. It despawns very fast from the ground."

Well... ****. I guess it was a good thing I killed it after collecting 15 of them or it would have been a wasted sighting. I guess I'll toss them in a barrel in town or into the river or something. Thanks.
