For my part I tried to put my fishing traps at least in 20 different spots of the east-coast and I got absolutly no lobsters. I'm mostly using smoked oysters , oak duff , nuts , grub , berries , woodchopping , myrtle oak leaves and myrtle oak acorns as baits.

In my opinion it closely looks like a troll item : a rare fish , found in rare places , when using a rare bait : near impossible to find. But if a really lucky player find just one Lobster he can try every baits in this place and finds the best one so everyone will know what the best baits to use and try several places ...

John to you have access to funny - fishing statistics , like how many lobsters were found this week on the whole providence server ?

Buy a lobster from his majesty, cook it and use it as bait. Everyone knows a lobster likes a lil lobster.
