This is probably a massive complicated troll by Darwoth but if it is it's worth posting just to get a laugh off it. If it is a troll it's a good one and I'll play along just to see how this ends. I don't mind if I'm wrong here and I still don't believe it's real.

So.....

Information about this 'Bot/Bug Abuse Client Add On' of Darowth's came to me yesterday. I'm not going to say where or how or who. I initially thought it was just a troll by Darwoth and I'm still not convinced it's real or that it works.

Originally it sparked my curiosity because the person mentioned a wall jump/teleport bug abuse in the add on and I had at least 2 friends who had been killed in unknown and suspicious circumstances that suggested a wall jump bug back on Roanoke. Other people had told me that the wall jump bug abuse was out there. I thought Loftar had fixed them all so I was curious to find out if it was still being done.

The person had also mentioned that Darwoth's guild mates were actually casually playing. They mentioned deo, buto, johnny, makestro, moc, and omnigol. I had met Omnigol back on Roanoke so this sort of fit. I knew a Johnny as well. Both those accounts have been inactive for over a year but I suppose it's possible that they're using a different account of Darwoth's. Who knows, maybe it's just Darwoth on all of them. Omnigol seemed like he was real on Roanoke and not just Darwoth pretending to be someone else.

The person also mentioned that Darwoth had used the wall jump to get PvP/Dueling practice battery scents on the players from the towns of Arcadia, Spatsville, and Vigorous Acorns in the last week or two. This seemed really easy to confirm or prove fake so I PM'd Arcadia and talked to a guy from Spatsville. The guy from Spatsville confirmed that they had been practicing PvP mechanics inside their walls in the last week. I'm still waiting for a response from Arcadia and if someone from Vigorous Acorns can post here if they've left scents in their vaults in the last couple of weeks that would be great. This is also a warning to those towns in case they have left them out there.

So anyways, I got into the SBG forum and checked it out.

When I confronted Darwoth with it, it was pulled and the official pics from the forum chat were pulled also.

Loftar thinks some of the bug abuses are possible. Most programmers I've asked think it's not real. I doubt it's real but let's get the rest of your thoughts and make it public anyways for laughs.

I'm starting to realize that the only way to get bugs fixed on Salem is to post it publicly so that they have to fix it.

Here's part of my convo with Darwoth. I had met Omnigol back on Roanoke but hadn't really met any of his other casual guild players. Here's the more incriminating parts of our convo. Like I said, some of it made me think the info I got wasn't real and was a massive troll on me (and through me to Darwoth).












This was probably the part that convinced me the most that it might be real.






So, who the ***** knows. Let's see what Darwoth has to say. The pics and links from the SBG guild forum are gone. If it is a troll, it's not Darwoth's and kudo's to whoever wrote it up.

So wait, you're denying we even talked about it.

Are you denying that Buto and Omnigol are members of your guild?

buto and omnigol were kicked out of the guild 7 years ago for hacking, nice try claeyt.

It's not like it is not theoretically possible, but I must ask, who would invest large amounts of time it would take to make anything like that for a game like salem.
It just doesn't pay off in my eyes.

a few days ago one of my newbie townmates said they had eaten a thrust for 300+ damage.......

i figured he read the numbers wrong or left out the decimal point or something even though he insisted not, starting to make sense now which is really ***** up.

Why would Omnigol be playing Salem at all if he wasn't in your guild?

I thought you'd laugh and call it a great troll by whoever gave me the info or that you would have laughed and said 'gotcha' and claimed the troll for yourself. Both of those would have been believable I suppose. All this denial makes it look more and more legit.

I guess I'll have to give that part where you admit and explain how the silver deposit works, everything I was able to download and the rest of our convo to Loftar. I thought maybe you or someone else was elaborately trolling me with a good chunk of this info right up until you started denying all of this.
