I know this isn't the mods but I'd like to complain about the administrator's fail at moderating.

Darwoth posts about getting slaves and blacks to pick his cotton = 3 day ban
Chief posts about how women are property, they shouldn't have the right to vote and how they should be subservient to men = no ban
I post against Jorb's fanboing of a dictator that killed millions in WWI and how the subject of enlightenment, progressivism and socialism have always been part of European history. = 1 week ban

I suppose I would have been banned for what I really wanted to say.

You're right. I guess I just had hopes that actual professionalism would have carried over when Paradox dropped them. They can do whatever they want but if they want to be an actual gaming company they need to control their forums and their weird world views.

Notes to my fellow reactionaries: I've concluded after much experimentation on the subject that liberals are simply not creatures of reason, but rather that they respond instinctively in an almost Pavlovian fashion to certain code-words, phraseologies and appeals to emotion. Their primary desire is not so much to be right according to the laws of logic and the facts of reality -- they have at best superficial understandings of those -- but rather to be always on the side of the group-dominant trend. In conversation with a liberal you must adapt to this, however uncomfortable that may make you as a sane and compassionate human being. The key to short-circuiting their strategy and "winning the debate" -- or at least confuse them enough to shut them up -- is thus to baselessly accuse them of thought-crimes, intimidate and make them believe that they represent a controversial minority opinion, suggest that the masses will soon turn on them and that they will be out-grouped, etc,etc -- i.e, an ugly reminiscence of their own ugly debate strategies. Facts play no significant role in this, as any attempt to use reason with a liberal inevitably merely emboldens him, and on this account they can play some reasonably clever language games. As language games are a key skill in their survival strategy of herdism and "fitting in", they can often be fairly adept at them. As they have no intrinsic respect for truth, however, no presentation of facts and logics will be significant enough to cause any meaningful level of cognitive dissonance within their frail psyches, and thus will also not cause them to reconsider their "opinions" (they have no actual, qualified opinions, of course, but merely follow the trend. In the 3rd Reich they would all have been good nazis, &c&c.)

Simply put: Full blown liberals are essentially grown up, misbehaving and malicious children. Treat them as such.
