Bear fear and its OP self.

Postby masonweaver » Fri Aug 31, 2012 1:41 pm

So I recently had a bear sitting outside of my claim. I decided to engage it instead of ***** around all day waiting for him to despawn. I end up killing said bear taking ZERO blood damage. As soon as the fight is over I pump 2 Witch's Hats, and a pumpkin pie. 15 seconds later I am laying on the ground with stars above my head. Now, I initiated the bear with roughly 46bb left. The fight lasted, oh, maybe 45 seconds at most.

Firstly: how am I afraid of a bear if I initiate the combat with him? I mean, if I were scared I would have ran.

Secondly: how does fear last through the bears death? It is dead, I killed it, I skinned it. I should not be in "fear" of a dead corpse.

Thirdly: how in frigging hell does it tick that much/last that long to take me from 46bb to 0 with three foods ticking and the bb bar full of "recharge"?

Anyone else having problems like this and believe that bear fear should be adjusted?

Agreed, should be less dangerous. And most of all, should be gone after killing a bear!

You have to watch your reel. High reel = ridiculous damage.

Either way, fear needs toned down. Being able to kill one without getting KO'ed from blood is hard enough.

true the fear is complete *****, but i dont see how you can kill legitly with 0 blood damage. even when you box it in it does some damage.

Maybe fear is still bugged?

Hard to watch reel once you lag and get stomped by bear ;)
