ont he right cause I have a wide screen and on the botton it's hidden by the chat :/
can you make sword in box light sword so sword come out when opened? then if sword is back after sword, use light saber on box, and saber will be boxed after sword is out. - Battlebug (Sw:tor forums pre-wipe)

I don't have a taskbar, but I do have a modeline which is horizontally oriented (at the bottom of the screen) so as to be able to contain text (see attached screenshot (and yes, that is my entire screen; there are no more adornments than that whatsoever)). I would be terribly disturbed not to be able to view the titles of the windows; how could I then know which they are? Do you people with vertical taskbars not have more than one window open that would share the same icon?

Edit: Hmm, I thought the attached file would only be linked if I didn't explicitly place it inline. How disturbing; I wasn't intending on making my post so huge.

Modern operating systems have things like icons to show different programs at a glance, and in the case that there is more than one window of the same program, you can generally right click the icon and get a menu listing the windows.

Well, sure, I guess. I assume it's not as if you generally use the mouse to switch between them anyway, when there are keyboard shortcuts. If anything, I might question why I don't just hide even the modeline altogether. :)

I like your style loftar. I am also extremely pleased seeing that the superior bottom - small icons is winning.

I never managed to figure out something clever for my signature on Paradoxplaza, and I doubt I'll do it here either.
