Can we finally do something about random murderers?

Today I lost a good friend, a part of my community, to a random russian subhuman finding him near the beaches of boston and one-shotting him. We aren't even a threat, we're new players unskilled in the ways of combat and definetely not aggressive.

Is no-one else tired by Russian sub-humans going "RU? RU? )))))))))))))" and then murdering you if you don't reply in their language?
Is there ways you can pay for safety? Are there mercenary or vigilante guilds?

If you're a new player with nothing then you can start over fairly easily. Keep your options menu open at all times when outside of your base so that you can quickly logout if you see others chasing you also. Also also, please watch the "sub-human" talk.

Type :act lo
Without being in the chat box to logout
:lo also works but :act lo will check if you're able to logout first before doing it so you don't logout while locked in combat or something

You forgot to put that subtle warning in green text.

Sorry guys but PvP aspect in this game is totally poor. Griefland and muling, with such "welcome msg" this game dont have great future. Good if someone think about this game from basics in this aspect. All rest is fine, building camp, gathering resources, cooperation with friends, large number of "blueprints", trading even, skill-model who is not boring experience killing from mobs. But combat model is just tragic. And I think that game should be develop in direction what is strong aspect, this PvP is added like by force or something. Nobody have from this fun, only people who like jerk around. :P

You were probably mistaken for capitalist beach foraging alts. :/

There are several things you can do to avoid this;

1. Use the wilderness guide and settle somewhere else far from Boston close to another beach.
2. Use Enders client and keep an eye out for deadly borka's
3. Make friends (people you already know?), join villages, read a few guides and watch a few videos.
4. If you have to forage around Boston then toggle the town claim so you know your safe zone. Venture outside of it at your own peril.

In pvp there can only be one winner. Essentially you cant deny a person of heinous acts but you can make it challenging to the point where they may even concede defeat. If someone wants to stab you they can. If someone wants to rob from you they can. If someone wants to burn your camp to the ground they can. You can however build defences that will make it difficult for them to do so.
