The Great Chief PeePooKaKa emerged from the Apple around 6 B.C. and in his travels met a hippie some squatters referred to as "Jesus". Interesting fellow but some of his ideas were a little out there. The Chief is approx 1,500 years old give or take a few hundred years. Not sure if that helps you or not.

The game is not strictly set in any one year. It's rather an eclectic blend of the entire colonial era taken as a whole.

I've always interpreted it to be the first 30 years of the 1700's due to the Salem witch trials happening during that timeframe. Perhaps we are playing in the time leading up to those events.

Just assume its an alternate reality and go from there, pick a year. Looking at the real world's time frames, and assuming server = colony of that name, it wouldn't really be possible for Roanoke to exist since that colony disappeared sometime between 1587 and 1590.

Plymouth was founded in 1620, Jamestown in 1607.
