Kernels for the hungry!

Postby Tylan » Wed Nov 21, 2012 7:56 pm

So who thinks that tomorrow's gift from the Natives will let us plant corn and require the expansion of several homesteads to compensate for the needed extra space? Have the prayers from the Reservation led the great and glowing spirits, Jorb and Loftar to smile down upon the lowly Squatters with the much needed (variety) regrowable form of sustenance to hunker down for a long winter? Will corn be the secret to unlocking witchcraft?

Am I the only one excited about an announced update before it actually occurs?!

Yes, corn will be plantable, but devs will forget to tell us, that fields will yield anything only if character had pumpkin masque during planting, there were no trees within 50 tiles, field was on a border between badlands and oak savannah and it had all 4 influences maxed :D

 Don't forget about needing the crime debuff.

And so you know, if you're struck down by Jorb with a homestead full of rattlesnakes for your blaspheming, I'll split my ration of cornbread with you.
