And stop stupid blabla about rangers. Rangers don`t give you back your (virtual) life after you have been killed. They just take your belonings from the thief for themselves. Rangers are just some romantic idea from some guys, which had seen to much old movies in tv.

Yes, thats how people on the new servers are already in or close to 100

Do you even play this game? The one thing you point out is rangers or the lack there of. Of course you don't get a character back but you will stop the person from committing more crimes for a bit. If you would ask a ranger to return certain items they more then likely would if you helped with the transfer.

Do you play this game or are you just transfering your unsuccessful knowledge of H&H to Salem?!? Because people are @100 on the new servers doesn`t say anything about if they are @200 on the old ones. They had a head start from about 3 months...if all your logic works like this it would explain your bloodcurdling arguments.

My logic is that what you are saying is not true at all. People will be caught up in humors very soon and after a month or 2 they will also be caught up in iron and seeds. plz get a clue

The basic point here is that starting "late" isn't nearly as bad in Salem as it is in Haven. In fact, it's only important if you want to be the hardcore raiders who win the world.

But even then, if you keep quiet for a month you can easily get to the point of being able to challenge the powers due to the fact that humours have an effective cap until crop purities get insane after 3 months of gameplay.
It's been neat to see the evolution of a game. Salem has come so far, and still has far to go. Although frustrating, I think it's been an experience worth the effort.

True, but still I hope that open beta and 1.0 release will be on some new servers and our chars from closed beta will never be able to travel to open beta and chars from open beta won't be able to travel to 1.0 servers. It would be just not fair for very new people.

There will be server travel apparently. How the heck that'll work we don't know. New servers will be given X time to mature and defend themselves though before griefers travel over.

It sound like the devs want to promote trade between the servers. Maybe it could be set up so you only have the crime skills on your home server.

Edit: of course the other problem is that a group wanting multi-verse dominance can trade high purity seed and dowsing rod with their local chapter.
