We will see how it works out in the end, hopefully they don't botch it up, but Theresa May's groveling and ***** sucking in some of her speeches in the US reeked of desperation, which isn't a good sign.

This right here will be the biggest change to the UK in generations. All of their winter vegetables and fruits come from the EU. We're already seeing it with lettuce right now. They haven't had to deal with individual trade deals on stuff like this since the 50's. Brexit will seem like a mistake when fruits and vegetables are thrice the price and Britains are driving to France to load up their car trunks with duty free oranges and tomatoes.

So yes, Spain will stop selling cheap fruit and veg to Britain when it's harder to ship it there.

The EU does not need UK money. They do not have the strongest economy or the most money of the EU. They DO have the largest banking sector of the EU which is already preparing to leave following a Brexit.

And when Britain prospers, will you thank them?

The thing is, that when Britain leaves almost the entirety of their economy is still going to be attached at the hip to the EU so we'll never see Britain succeed and the EU fall economically. The entire point of the EU is to minimize the lows while limiting the highs economically so as to maintain the economy instead of surfing it. We can see it's success in keeping Greece out of free fall while also seeing its failure by keeping Greece from bouncing back. The EU is a slow and steady approach compared to what was before. Britain will never out pace the EU by much and will only risk greater individual fluctuations by not being in it as we're seeing with the diminished pound.
