Also the party of stupidity.

When you show up to protest a person and don't know who it is yet, so you show up with blank protest cards ready to fill a name in, you lost all legitimatsy. Truly idiotic.

They were also the defenders of free market capitalism and public prayer, and fought to remove corruption from the government.

A wise man once said, democracy sucks but it's the best we have! I agree with him. Although, democracy can go so damn wrong it's not even funny.

If people are fully educated and have awareness, then democracy stands a chance.

Democracy crumbles even in countries, where people should be educated enough.
We even lose basic values of the Enlightenment today, like the valuing of rational thinking.

Problem is, and this we all have got in common, that people look around and see, that the Today sucks. Democracy makes promises, which are broken by economic ideology.
So most of them don't even are interested in defending the, so far, accomplishments of civilisation.

We need an idea or picture of the future. People are yearning for that.

"Make mankind great" or something like that.
Not "great again", because we were never so great. With a few exceptions.

Yes.. i agree. But then we need people that are taught how to think, not what to think. Also we need to be able to discern what is right or wrong by listening to our hearts and feelings. You don't need religion or law to be loving, that love is in everyone if they just listen to it.
