the constitution says american citizens can practice whatever religion they want which they can including muslimes. it does not say we need to let foreigners in at all, much less those of an opposing death cult ideology.
gun control, attempts to force states to allow abortion that do not want it via federal law and attempts to force religions to perform gay marriage if they do not agree with it via federal law on the other hand certainly are. which are all causes championed by your side of the fence.
