So, I've mostly been ignoring these things as they usually haven't been worth reading. I read this one just out of curiosity and I see that Claeyt has once again cherry-picked. He entirely failed to mention the part where it says the FBI isn't actually investigating Manafort, and hasn't filed charges. They're investigating some of his dealings as part of tracking some money laundering that was being done in Ukraine a few years ago. If anyone is confused how they could be investigating Manfort's dealings for money laundering while not accusing him of wrongdoing, think of Breaking Bad. Most people have seen it and probably saw Saul's explanation of how the Nail Salon could launder money. Think of the innocent customers of the salon and the legitimate suppliers of nail care products to the salon. The FBI, in investigating the salon for money laundering might also investigate payments made to the suppliers even though the suppliers were completely blameless. Now, I don't know if Manafort is entirely innocent, but it's going a bit far to say he's about to be arrested.

The Guardian is reporting that MI-6, the Germans, the Estonians and the Polish intelligence have been monitoring meetings betweenTrump associates and Russian Intelligence since 2015 and that they were the first to report the contacts to the CIA and FBI.
