Is this really what people think protests are now? If this is the case, then there is something seriously wrong going on. Is this really what it's come to? Have we really gotten to a point where people think rioting is a perfectly reasonable response to not getting your way?

This is unacceptable, but they will probably grow out of it, after all look at the older people who rioted in the 60s and 70s, most of them grew out of it.
So like TM said its better to see them have to get jobs and grow up, rather than putting them in a jail, continuing their dependence on the state and the tax payers that fund it.
