KOing every time you hit a wall and someone doesn't log on to fight you with a debuff or KO for 10+ hours isn't fun.

I'm sorry your terrible town took us under a hour to kill you. but when you make a real town it actually takes effort to do something.

Darkness won't KO you for 10h just for 15 minutes :)
And why are you crying about real town defences?
Get more friends, better stats and you can raid in darkness... and some balls are required too, because it is not 100% secure raid like you did so far :)

The topic of this thread is 'Server architecture' not 'raiding in the darkness.' Back on topic.

inb4 travelling to another server lets their scents mean they have no homestead.

Also, will server travelling take time? Like a 24 hour waiting period?

Then what if someone will murder you and go travel for 24h and in RL he will go to sleep?

You would probablly be able to summon them at their old homestead if that were the case, or the sentence I had right above that quote.

I like this idea. It would remove the sense in travelling for criminals.
Why not both? Travelling would take like 24 hours and remove their homestead for this time and when they arrive they could make a leanto there and could be tracked down there again.
I would like criminals to be not allowed to travel while having active scents, but I think it is kind of realistic to commit a crime and hide in another town. The scents should just be trackable between servers in this case to keep the balance.
