If you guys want to play Salem with Steam overlay and maybe have some friends ask about it, here's a link to an easy tutorial:

Same exact concept, enjoy!

no, all the **** on steam who cant play salem would degrade it with joining, now knowingf what to do or getting killed then giving it bad reviews and dragging it down, this game should NEVER ben on steam.

Haven't tried it, but from seeing other people playing non-steam games, it presumably would show up to your steam friends as something like "currently playing Salem (non-steam game)" and possibly log your hours which can be displayed or hidden publicly (not sure it logs hours for non-steam games tho)
Plus there would be the shift-tab steam chat shortcut (presumably, assuming since he said it gives the overlay) which is somewhat nice if there's some way to play salem fullscreen (thought I saw someone talking about fullscreen, but I check the wiki/forum/etc too frequently to bother)
Personally I'd rather the embarrassing percentage of the time I spend playing Salem be as off-the-record as possible so it's not for me
