Hello,

i guess we all have been noobs one day and done stupid things that makes u wonder, guess its nice to share some of that stuff

(note: no personal flame attacks or anything just share some bit of fun)

i just tried to make berry juice so i wanted to dehydrate berries but never done it, i put the berries in the destiller and then on the alchemy table, then tried various ways of using tinder, grass, coal, woodchoppings to set the table on fire to start dehydrating just to notice it does it already automatically.

Not sure if it was stupid or just ignorant, but when I had my first smelter, I used to fill it with randomly foraged lime. I didn't really understand why it was so complicated and how people were doing to have so much iron.

I spawned an alt in my camp, kept leveling it for a couple of weeks. At one point I removed its leanto cause it was in the way and forgot about that. Some time later I ported with the alt to town, to buy something...

didn't put a ring on the first Asian girlfriend that would let me.... :'(

I spent about 2 weeks irritated that I coldent figure out how to get flour. every time I tried I just got oatmeal. so i went nearly a month without gluttoning until someone informed me that WAS flour

My most stupid thing in the first weeks was not to realize that i can just use TAB for opening my inventory and so drop my first Sword into water, because i used left Mouseclick.

This wasnt even my mistake, I just capitolized on it, but right before the wipe, I was padding my kill count by scent hunting/baiting. So one day I loaded a scented mask into the stall and waited, 2 days later someone bought it and me and my wife (Sabriea) headed out to track him and see if he had anything fun. We get to his camp and he's online, sees us and messages us "hi". So i tell him we are just out exploring around and we make a wide arc around his camp. get just south of it and find a scent. so we track it right back to the camp we are standing beside..

So after waiting a few minutes until he got spooked and logged out, I broke in through the walls and we went in, I summonsed/ko'd him and let Sab come in to take the kill. about an hour later the guy comes into boston where we are standing around and pm's her asking how she killed him when he never left scents. We tried to explain that he had a scent but he wasnt listening..

so to recap, 1 split rail fence, 1 makeshift fence, and a scent right outside the claim.. and 1 brazier

Pick any of the death-inducing things I did so far: Left witchy scent inside crate to test duration then went inactive / failed to pay rent.

Fought giant bat with obvious griefer nearby during bloodmoon without auto-drop bats feature activated.

Went away for a week without paying rent and though no death was involved, junk was lost, lovingly hoarded junk Q.Q
