Farming UpKeep

soo... now that fertile turkey droppings don't reduce upkeep.... what is the best way to get a lot of chipped wood?

sorry for the very late replies.... everyone i played salem with quit... and all my villages have been raided.

seems like a waste of a tree... and don't get much chippings from it. :/

Do regular turkey droppings still reduce upkeep?

Regular Turkey Droppings increase Plenty and Speed if I'm not mistaken

Mouldy boards confirmed best source of chippings.

Not sure if this list is complete, but here is what I use in order of priority

Logs - split for 2 each (chop downs trees and don't forget to destroy stumps with a shovel for extra)
woodworking/chopping droppings - they drop very little when chopping but any woodworking tends to get lots
Moldy boards - split for 2 each (do not lick)
rotten logs - if you are near greenwood biome and shake them first.

I farm spiders picking up logs. Just shake before splitting and you will never get a gnome :idea:
