when are u going to either get rid of this madness crap or at least add some thing beside teddy bears to get rid of it. More people might play if they didn't have to stay logged off because of madness. You have a good game otherwise.

You can get rid of it with tobacco AND hookahs.

Tobacco works for everybody, and sounds like you should get yourself an affluence set then.

I get a level of madness everyday no matter what I do . I've smoked a chest full of tobacco and still had a level of madness If it keeps up I will probably quit and find another game even though I like Salem

I suggest you talk to some people who better understand the mechanic than yourself though. There are plenty of people who have logged hundreds of hours without ever gaining a level.

I should have know you wouldn't listen or understand. it is the machanics and makes the game un-enjoyable

TBH tobacco sucks ass. It's expensive and most of the time it won't lower any madness level. I'm up for another way to get rid of madness at early game

It seems you're doing something very wrong, and you're clearly not doing anything to prevent your insanity from growing.

I have had my new character for over a month, I play around 6hours per day minimum, and I have not gained a single madness level. All it takes is for you to study a few inspirationals per hour ( which you should be doing anyway imo )

Please don't call the game un-enjoyable when you clearly don't even understand how this mechanic works. Oh and by the way, read this: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=13907
