I'd rather have augments that can be put onto any piece of clothing. Set stats for certain gear encourage cookie cutter looks. That, or a separate decoration category in the equipment menu purely for looks.

More like Terraria. But really, I big flaw imo in haven is that there's really only one endgame set of gear that you need to wear to be competitive. You can change it up sort of to be individual but you're always sacrificing something.

why not allow villages to be able to build the "color tub" that you can change hair at when you make a new pilgrimn?

then you simply hold a piece of clothing, and right click the tub, just like you do to change hair?

That way, we do get away from the dhelm merch cape cookie cutter look of Hnh...

sounds good right? Different villages can personalize different looks ( or hermits) and still be wearing the gear with the best stats...

Stats should vary alot too btw, a sulphur hat shouldn't have same stats as another etc etc

Yes augments are cool, but as for elements (only 4) Devs could prepare different looks for each cloth/armor/weapon, with many augments it would be not possible or very hard to implement (imho of course).

Dear Jorb, for the love of God please do not put capes in the backpack slot. I'm aware that this is the slot you've used for haven but gooby pls.
