To put it simply, why does the design direction of this game (and HnH) always indicate this?
The current state of the game is supremely screwed up. What is even more ***** up is, people have gone into the darkness to escape the endgame that is raiding, and now the endgame raiders are crying (Gallow Hills crybabies) because now it will take actual effort (aka days possibly) to wipe out your MONTHS of work, instead of MAYBE taking a whole day obliterating months of work. What the *****?
And you know, as soon as they release another form a walls, a way to counter it will come too, making it all the more easier... battering rams anyone?
This is killing the game. You invest tons of REAL LIFE hours, sapping your life away, never to get it back, only to be completely destroyed in a single day?
The game will never grow. Never. NEVER.
Why would you play farmville here? This game will never attract casuals, it's max 50 population for life, spread out among a bunch of servers. sounds fun.... NOT
I want to make raiding more hard, but more worth it. Not cry to jorb because I can't destroy a whole town in a couple hours like Stax and company.
Really, this is just all so ***** atm...
Edit: Also what other endgame options are in the works? right now, you max purity... so u can be a strong raider. There is nothing else. Sandbox or not, we are given no other options. Especially with the current game meta being advantage to raiders 24/7
In this game of revenge killing with scents, it is simply the bigger village or whoever has more asskissing friends will prevail. Period.
