No you are the first person ever to whom it happened [/irony]. On a more serious note, JC has changed the formula directing the number of bars you get depending on the number of ore/lime you put inside the smelter a few weeks ago.

Apparently adding a small lime chunk (mega rare from chipping lime) will give more bars as well. (apparently)
