So are you guys just rampaging like crazy unchecked?

you can think what you want, the main thing that it's not your problem.
You better pray that we all ended well.
If you have entered the country dictatorial laws I think you yourself would not be silent.
you can only watch and discuss, because you have no such problem.
Sorry but I have already answered the questions why people are fighting and for what.
And I'm not going to answer such a stupid question.
If people rebelled means is for what.

Can anyone think of an example of a violent revolution where the military was never involved?

It's kind of bemusing watching this relatively polite usurping of the government.

How you can't undarstand.
It is ukrainians and now they are looks like zombies.
And what country would avoid violence?
i know answer.
All countries.
If someone wanted to help a long time ago would have already done it.
Russia refused to help.
Depend only hope is that we ordinary people can win dictatorship.
And it's not that we want violence!
A government that can not even run the country.

Last news.Maidan Yanukovych gave a few hours for the release of detained activists.
That is hard to undarstand. If president is not do this i think we are really going to fight.

at least, you seem to be luckier than those in Uyghur and Tibet where the government execute or capture them all as terrorists with all the censors.
good luck, and i just hope that you all will experience least bloodshed as possible on your paths.

What I'm saying is, comparatively, things seem to be going along quite peacefully. It's no ballot, and people are getting hurt, but they haven't used the military, it's just civilians throwing molotovs and clubbing each other.

As far as a violent revolution goes, yours is quite peaceful.

Maybe the Ukraine should tell both Russia and the EU to go ***** their respective selves, and actually assert its independence instead of fighting over which foreign power should dominate the country?

The country is economically ***** up, so they need to chose. Government made a deal with Russia about a large credit (very decent by the way) and lowered natural gas price (maybe even write off a part of debt for the gas). Of course there are other things that Russia want from the deal (not sure what they are but Russia was somewhat opened about it). People think that government is giving to much to Russia in return and since there is a long lasting hostility towards Russia they prefer to be ***** by anyone else (doesnt matter it EU **** is bigger as long as its not Russian ****). EU and USA want the usual, weakening the third world country and putting it to economical slavery so they can control it more closely. USA wants to place there military in there as well so they are close to there old friend Russia. And they are offering "democracy" and regular credits that are hard to repay. People are demanding resignation of the government and free elections and since EU and USA are behind this (backing up the democracy) they are helping militant groups burn down anything they come across. I am impressed that Ukraine government did not acted more violently in imposing order and gave the external factors a chance to get more involved.
