i guess i have to explain my comment a little more, although i thought it was pretty obvious what i meant. i just mean, that dallane IS banned, and has been for ages, so your claims that certain mod's friends have immunity is just total bs.

it might help to not pick a bunch of easily butthurt whiney snowcone heads as moderators if you insist on picking them from the community. additionally nobody here is fooled by the ridiculous pie in the sky fantasyland "moderators are impartial, and the other moderators that just so happen to be their friends moderate threads they talk in so theres nothing to see here!" line, simply admitting that your poor moderator selections leave much to be desired, that there IS going to be favortism on some basic level and not pretending that things like the ability to see another players IP address is not an advantage would go a lot farther with most than these types of iraqi information minister posts.

also reworking the rules would be helpful, house of burgesses should essentially be unmoderated entirely unless someone is coming in posting ***** pictures or flooding etc. "derailing" can be and has been twisted into whatever they want, and since you decided to add the retarded "moderator is always right!" line that gets touted frequently much to the chagrin of the people actually posting in the thread. these boards are dead, not because the game is in "beta" (if you are not wiping characters and are selling in game currency it is no longer a beta btw but more like "early access") with a low playerbase but because people get tired of having some fresh out of high school retard come in and **** green text out of their fingers where it is 9 times of 10 not needed at all.

The vast majority of mods are complete crap. They either need to learn how to do their jobs better or be replaced. They really do have a hugely negative impact on this game, whether or not anyone admits they do.

IMHO MagicManICT, TeckXKnight and Sevenless are 99% neutral in their judgments.
Potjeh for last few days was little more biased.
Staxjax at beginning and after BTK raid was terrible, now I hope he is going to be better.

Remember what TM said, mods got access to some other important informations!
And after that statement I have a dilemma on which side to stand...
now at least we know who is who and imho it is better than let some noob go on public with important informations

Of course we should try to make forums rules better and maybe organize some "community committee"
to not spam in important threads like this, but to write single post from majority of players?

So what? You could still read the thread until you see the trend where it ceases to be relevant and then just simply wait for the next thread with fresh info/topics. I lose more time trying to find where posts have been moved to and seperated off from etc. etc. then it would take for me to just skim the highlights through the trash. Keep in mind that major game like WoW server forums etc have 0 derailing rules. Imagine that, 11 million people and no derailing issues. Does every topic stay on point? No. But on a forum where your there to see what the community is talking about more than any one specific topic who gives a ()#$*? The HoB is a forum where people are there to research and feel out the community and politics. Nobody goes to HoB LOOKING for ONEspecific topic or answer to their question so once again derailing in general should stay out of that arena (along with 99% of the rest of moderation).
