No, from the rain. Except the actual rain doesn't have to be implemented or visible. Just like fishtraps, stumps get filled over time without you seeing anything happening around them or without the game server simulating anything apart from randmly spawning stuff in those objects

So its magically raining in salem......at all times.....on every spot on the map.....

Yes, and crops grow in 3 days, there is constant autumn and no night.

Anyone can pee in the river. Besides, have you noticed how no river starts in the mountains? There is water flow, those are just very long lakes. Stagnant water, yummie!

Tears do that too. They are rich in minerals, mainly salt.

Yup, If there is no rain then how do the lakes stay full and the fields & trees grow? If no one is logged on in a map tile is it raining then?
