It's not just fanbois fighting each other, as I told you yesterday, although there are fewer players, there is still plenty going on in-game.

I've talked to at least 10 new players in game, who I've directed to the forums for help topics or in help finding a town to join who've come back to me discouraged by the game bashing and population bashing from people like you, who don't even play the game. Some of them have quit. Your posts affected their decisions to keep playing.

Some of us love this game and are trying to help it grow. Part of that is answering your toxic posts bashing the game which you are free to post and I am free to answer. I'm not QQ'ing, I'm defending a game I like playing and you do not.

Thank you for saying the game may get there in time. That is positive constructive posting. We all know the problems, help the dev's find the answers with positive constructing posting and maybe we will get there.

The problem is that you don't agree with any of the obvious issues you just say a general OH THERE ARE ISSUES BUT LETS IGNORE THAT CUZ ITS FUN for a week or 2

And yes this is two fanbois posting back and forth. You have been around long enough to know what you are saying is stupid.

I'm sick of new players coming to me discouraged by the forums and worried about the future of Salem because older players like you are bashing it. Salem has problems, bugs, etc.. but overall it's a great game with incredible depth. New players need to know that you no longer play this game.

If people, like me, don't respond to your game bashing and counter that they love the game, then new players are discouraged when they come to the forums for the Help, Trade, Planters and Pilgrims sections and find your toxic game topics when they check out the other sections.

You ARE hurting the game.

You shouldn't be blaming the player, blame the game. Dallane is perfectly playing the forum game and client game within the rules, otherwise he would have been permabanned a long time ago. It is like blaming a soldier for **** Obama ordered.

I actually agree with a lot of the same issues with the game that you do. I think that they've struggled, they've changed some stuff for the better, and that everybody has their hopes waaaaay too high for fast development from only 2 devs with no publisher. ......But the game is good, it's got a huge learning curve, but it's depth is unmatched for MMo's right now, in my mind. There are easier games out there, but very few that are 'like' Salem.

You and I are fanbois, but a lot of new people aren't there yet. My new goal in game is to turn people onto the game. That includes helping them in-game, and doing stuff like fight night (Thanks Maggie :D ) to make the game interesting for them.

Absolutely, Dallane knows the rules better than anyone, and is absolutely within his right to say whatever he wants. I am also within my rights to comment how much I like the game, and to defend the game and to say how much he's hurting the game, when he bashes it continuously. He no longer plays the game, but still has the right to comment on it, I just don't understand why he posts so much on a forum for a game he no longer plays.

I mean, I still post on a ton of forums of games I've played. Nexus, some of the 'TES' sites, Eve online, some others, but I love those games. I don't bash them from afar. I can't imagine bashing a game for months on a daily basis without playing it. What's the point?

Jorb and possibly the mods and loftar are to be blamed, not Dallane. Again: you don't blame the soldier, you should blame Obama.

We can blame Jorbtar for the dev problems and whatnot, but what I blame Dallane for is discouraging people by relentlessly bashing the game throughout the threads. Again, the game has problems, bugs, and mechanics needs. For those I will call out Jorbtar every time. I still love the game and continue to play it constantly and enjoy a lot of things about the game. Many of the issues I've had with the game mechanics have been fixed and I look forward to new updates and new changes.

Dallane is doing something different, he's flame warring and trolling the players still playing. He's pointing out the population drop almost daily. He's bashing a game he no longer plays on a daily basis. He's completely entitled to his opinion on the forums, but after answering discouraged noobs for the umpteenth time about the hate and bashing coming from the forum, I'm entitled to point out on the forums that Dallane is no longer playing the game and counter with my opinion of how much I like the game whenever he says how much he hates it.

I, and some others on Roa, are also doing this on other game sites. We're countering some of the hating on and bad reviews of Salem there as well (although the reviews were never really that bad).
