best thing is, all the people complaining about prices have most likely never spend a dime on a f2p game in there life, its just the normal trend.

If you spent $200 on packs, mystery box's and more, then felt you got the raw end of the stick, i can understand your problem and reasons for complaining, but when people who complain about prices and have never supported a game in there life make me vomit seriously.

To all you people who complain about prices, and never spend a dime yourself, you should be sucking the cocks of the people who do support this game with cash shop purchases as they ensure it stays a "free to play" game for people like you.

I bet if this game introduced a subscription of $5 a month to play, and cut cash shop prices by 75%, the same people who are complaining here would most likely quit and refuse to pay the $5 also, which is a small sub compared to some of the games on the market.

In short, do not complain if you have never purchased anything. (Chances are 99% of the people complaining about prices will never lift their CC from their wallets for this game)

Actually, I've dropped money on several F2P titles over the years, but so far I haven't seen anything in the store worth mine. Even just buying silver, why would I drop $100 on something I can get in game with a day or 2 of effort? The "beginner" packs are somewhat worth it, if I was starting over fresh, but these newest packs are a bit much on the price.

This ^ lol

The read coat package is awesome if you want to get a sweet looking outfit and a jump on skills. Its basically a upgraded adventure pack and the price reflects the skills and the items. The founding fathers pack gives you a insta town bell cloths and skills cheaper then you would buying the silver.

The bad part of these packs is the rifles are useless and having a vclaim isn't worth it. Pclaim is by far better for the tresspass. Rifles will change in time and hopefully vclaims will do something down the road.

The only thing i wish they would do is show what it all looks like in game instead of people rolling the dice to see if it looks good or not.

These are the only 2 problems we saw with the new packs, The rifle still being crap, and the fact there was no visual pictures of the items in-game and buying the expensive packs were too much of a "gamble" if the outfits turned out visually bad.

So we stuck with the mystery box;s and it was pretty good :), would love to see more of these "random" box's in the future.

My average F2P budget seems to be 40$ over the course of a year. Normally in 2-3$ purchase increments, but buying the in game "cash" for 10$ lumps usually.

Those hat boxes are a good use of microtransactions. That 70$ pack is an abusive one.
It's been neat to see the evolution of a game. Salem has come so far, and still has far to go. Although frustrating, I think it's been an experience worth the effort.

Some of those are pretty ridiculous. 70$ is pricing for a full game + 1 month subscription, on top of that you're able to lay down a town claim instantly via paying, which I am not comfortable at all with.

And this is coming from someone who could easily afford multiple of those per month (does not of course mean I will).
