I personally think the prices are a bit high for these new items, so I don't plan on buying them. I won't, however, be whining about the prices. And I don't feel somehow entitled to receive these items at a lower price just because I want them.

Some great pictures, by the way! Some of the hats look pretty neat!

Even if the prices were lower on these particular items, I wouldn't buy them because they don't interest me. I do think they need to add some more variety and specifically items in a lower price bracket. I'm not ***** from an entitlement standpoint. I'm perfectly happy to never spend a dime in the shop. I care about the prices because I want these guys to make money off the game. Which is better in the long run, a few people buying really expensive items or a lot of people buying more reasonably priced items? I think it's the latter. If the player base feels good about buying from the shop, they tend to buy from it more often.

That's a good point, Shiala. Looking at it from the perspective of wanting the game to do well and make money, the prices may be too high. And it would be good to have some variety. (Those hats look kind of snazzy, though.)

Are these new packs supposed to be our "original pilgrim's outfit" for those who signed up before a certain time? If so, count me sorely disapointed.

And here I thought I am a normal person.
I earn about 16-18$ for 8 hours of work here in the central Europe [value added tax - 23%].

what? you make 2 dollars an hour?

I know a guy that came to Canada from England, he said the only thing good about that place is the road out of there lol.

Seriously, we have alcohol abusing, cocaine snorting rednecks making $47 dollars an hour in Alberta.

You already spent more then 30$ on gw2 and probably a lot more on WOW. On salem you spent nothing and still you are saying that the prices are high?
