This thread is one of my favorites, where you attempt to chew me out for something that I explicitly stated the opposite of, and then, even when that error had been pointed out, continue to argue other things which I had already explicitly addressed. My absolute favorite part of that thread has to be that you then brought back up that argument the error of which you had explicitly accepted as an error after it had been pointed out by Champie, as if that just never happened.

Of course, this is far from the only time you do these things; it's just the one where I was most directly involved myself. I would've thought that you at least had the self-insight to know that you do these things. Do you simply not read the posts you respond to, or are you willfully ignoring their contents?

What error? I was crashing in Kand's and Ender's. I fixed it. Champie's wasn't crashing, so what. I erased all and updated.

Anyone mentioning genetics within discussions about race is utterly ignorant. Races do not exist scientifically speaking, they are purely a social construct. There is less genetic diversity between black and white people than between different tribes in africa (because all our ancestors came from africa 200k years ago). skin colour is a negligible fraction of our genes which define how humans differ from each other. Yes, there are genetic differences between populations, but there is more variety within a population still than between populations. And there are no genes exclusive to populations or what society define as races. The only subspecies of modern humans are all extinct, we are all 100% the same species, but interestingly some of the slight diversity between human populations is due to interbreeding with those extinct sub-species. For instance our European ancestors interbred with Neanderthals, which one could argue makes us less advanced than africans.

Vaguely related question: as a biologist, how do you see on the result of adoption studies where they do IQ-testing of negroids and caucasians to find out if there is a genetic basis connected to being a negroid/caucasian for a difference in IQ?

First of all grouping humans as negroids and caucasians is unscientific, but I think its fairly established that in terms of IQ africans > europeans > asians. I doubt its substantial difference tho in proper scientific no bias tests, but I hadn't read any specific papers so do PM me one if you think I am wrong. I'd bet money its less of a factor than environment (between populations).

saying there is no genetic difference between race and tendecies toward certain behavior patterns based on racial makeup as a result is laughable and tells me your "biology degree" came from classes taught by people like claeyt.

there are major strides in the pharamceutical industry to tailor drugs specifically to the genes of individual races to make them more effective, if we were "all the same" that would not be possible and hundreds of millions would not be getting dumped into their development.

Good luck getting your own degree when you can't read over simplified statements. I never said there isn't genetic differences between populations, I specifically said there was in that very post. However I also said there are no exclusive genes. So obviously so called "race tailored" drugs can never be wholly specific to socially constructed races. anyway I have no desire to educate, especially internet morons, it was stupid of me to post here in there first place, and worse come back here.
