The problem is not islam as a religion, though, as a religion, it kind of sucks, but thats just my personal opinion.

The true problem is, that people who have a good life, at least some wealth, some basic education, a halfway stable society and well, friends, tend to not go to war for nothing or blow themselfs up as suicide terrorists.

USA prepared the soil for all this, it is their and only their responsibility to pay the debt, rebuild the middle east and make everyone there too happy to do something bad.

Oh I agree that it starts to be too hot for me in terms of extremism. Not only Islamists but extreme rights movement too. However I do not agree with Darworth's arugments that it's all my fault (considering I'm only 22 years old I don't see what I can do to stop extremism as voicing out your opinions brings nothing at all). To Darwoth's general comments: I certainly don't keep close attention to all the goings on in Europe, but according to my general participation in viewing news, there are Right Wing parties in various countries that are seeing more traction due to policies and actual happenings in the area. We all know this ebb-and-flow is a fundamental part of human behavior. Whether we keep it in mind when forming our views is a different thing.

To all: There certainly is a lot of liberal-this and immigrants-that. I don't recall many, if any, of these terrorist group's public statements mentioning any of these things.

Maybe this thread can still serve a purpose instead of being equivalent to someone dropping a million dollars on a crowd of thousands and watching from above to see how it turns out.
