I dunno man, Salem was peaking at like 2.2k the first few days that marketing happened, now it barely squeezes by with maybe 900 max on a good day.

That's because they get 48 hours of free play time, and it just came out :p.

Exactly. After the grace periode is up, it's basically over.

I'm curious to see what it will be in around a week.

"1 month of Game Time, $15.00"

If this is 720 hours of ingame play time, it will last most players 3-6 months, and if you are the most hardcore player you would go for the $10 a month.

To be truthful the prices are not that bad, and it also makes duplicate accounts, botters, alt accounts ALOT less common.

However, the rich botters will get to have huge huge advantages over others.

EDIT: Reading over it, the $15 option is just like a 1month sub, however you can trade it to other players, so expect to be able to play for free if you can earn enough ingame to buy them from other players.

Exactly this, it was bad when it was perma death, it was free for ***** sake! I can only laugh at jorb's posts being passive aggressive like he didn't care about losing players, but i doubt that game will actually gain any new players now. Not for the price of a WoW or EvE account at least.

Assuming its still as easy and they will still not punish botters like Salem does, you are right and my argument of personal gains will become invalid.

Hafen is Pay to Play!

Oh my god it finally happened. Lorbtar have finally cracked.

Is anyone here actually going to pay $15 every month to play Hafen?

Once again I want to thank Mortal Moments for buying this much, much superior game, and for realizing that they can make more money off it by offering us non-game-breaking stuff like golden armor, hats, capes, pretty clothes and more hats. I will now spend some money on a Salem hat box to celebrate Hafen's demise. You are clearly the superior devs.

JC, please free Loftar from Jorb's clutches before he dies of scurvy, huddled in his bedroom, sitting next to the Hafen server for warmth, trying to fix that game.

I can't believe they popped it on the Havenites with no warning after all that hype all summer.
