Meanwhile on salem there are currently 40 people on 3 servers.

I tried it for 2 days (maybe 6 hrs) back when they fixed the lag.

I then tried it for 1 day (about 4 hrs) in W7

I'll go with that quote on that other thread: "going back to HnH from Salem made me feel like I was swimming in glue."

Dallane wrote:Its also hilarious for you to say people would be crazy to go back to hnh after you said plz jorb make this game more like hnh.

Specifically I want them to make it more like HnH with the stuff you can build there. Honey, booze, livestock and tons of other stuff. I also like the whole day/night thing there. I also like the some of the game mechanics over Salem's. What I don't like is the 2D graphics that look like an acid flashback to the 90's. I don't like a lot of the combat stuff over there. I think Salem's is better in some ways, or more specifically, it could be better. I don't like some of the game play stuff on HnH either.

Salem is just a better game with more potential. HnH is the past, but it does have the population and that's where your sig quote comes from. If Lorb could just make Salem SEEM more like HnH they'd have a real shot of getting that crowd over here.

I completely agree. The HnH crowd is pretty low IQ compared to the Salem crowd. I'm fairly certain if they simply had the HnH website redirect to the Salem website and told the player base it was the same game with some minor adjustments and graphics updates half of them wouldn't even realize it wasn't hnh.

Ahh chief, Positive like always

You know I honestly think that what they need to add is some music... Lets think about this really for more than just something you don't notice because i tell you that i always notice there is no music

Without music Salem has a dead Vibe, really it truly feels dead, it feels empty but if you added some music now and then boom.. The world suddenly feels alive so things like, lets say walking around picking up mushrooms and things like that with the noobs, if there was music they wouldn't notice their life wasting over as much as they do now!

And to the idea of milking HnH of it's player base and letting that game die and this to become the new and better HnH +1

Ps: And ohhh people that say that the forums have nothing to do with players in game... not true, just in the past few days i know a few people who were swayed off playing due to the community they see on the forum and you have all seen a few people asking "Well I've been reading the forums and is the game really worth playing" And I mean we have to tell them to give it a try but of course if u have someone *Not mentioning names* that says "It's crap" and a sig saying go play HnH, thye go play HnH, think it's crap and if someone in Salem says HnH is better than salem but HnH is some 2d crap... well... why would they even try Salem?

The community sucks, therefore the game must equally suck. But in this case, the game is probably worse than the forums. We are just setting the tone for the game, so those half intelligent individuals who decide to browse the forums to get a feel for the game know what they are getting into. If people decide not to play the game because of they dont like the forum community, they probably wouldn't make it past an hour or two in the game anyways.

What's your point? Once the CG kills your noob slave camp you will be right down there with the other two servers.

Honestly the community is what drew me in. There is some fairly good drama or antics here on a fairly regular basis. But I also read into it, did my research on how to play for a while and then joined up into the forums. I think the resonating theme here is people have no idea what they're getting into and there's not going to be breathing room when you leave scents walking across a claim with criminal acts. The person who comes calling with your scents isn't there to point out the dangers to you. This is not that kind of game.

People need to be made to do their homework, but I sure as hell can't think if how that's going to happen.

It's not my slave camp.
It's my old inactive town which I donated to Claeyt, to make it his slave camp. Erm, new player town.
