On a more serious note.. we are less than a week away from a Nuclear Apocalypse, causing an artificial winter that could last up to 2 decades. This artificial winter would wipe out crops across the globe, causing remaining the life on this planet to starve to death.

So, the most important question: What are you guys doing in your final week of life on this planet?

Not worrying because I live safe in america.

Alright so enough with identity politics, let's talk about Donald Trump's 25% tax on China that he says he will make, and how an experienced capitalist like him should know how an import tax is not a good thing for either side, and how free market capitalism is the way to go.

If you want a global Corporatocracy then yes, free market capitalism is the way to go. From what i understand Trump wants to bring back all those 'job opportunities' back to the States and not have cheap stuff from China flooding the markets. I don't know the exact fine print, but taxing Chinese export and making the products 'cheaper' in your own country is imo a wise move, i could be terribly wrong ofc.

I also find it very funny how alot of people(europeans) are 'scared' of Trump. It's almost like they see the U.S.A. govt as something out of a James Bond movie. Where the President has his finger hovering above the big red button, ready to hit it at any time

If it's true...

Well I'm not sure if any american wants to work 12h a day making fortune cookies really...
Those job opportunities are jobs that are not necessary since it's just cheaper to import stuff from China than make your own.
If having cheap stuff from China flood the markets is a bad thing, then why is it happening? Everything is controlled by consumers, and consumers prefer the cheap stuff from China, that America simply can't produce, because of workers rights, minimum wages, and just the fact that it's a **** job Americans would hate to do.
So while in reality taxing import might seem like a good idea, it just makes it harder for people to be able to buy what they want, and capitalism is all about that.

Also the corporatocracy thing is a very socialist concept that is simply *****.

That's something I've hated about politics in the last several elections. Why is the presidency a family thing? We're not supposed to have a hereditary nobility. Yet, it seems we're getting closer all the time to having one. Bushes in the presidency and other top positions left and right, Kennedys and Clintons all over the damn place. Not having a family history or long personal history in politics is seeming to me to be more and more of a good reason to elect someone.

Now the Chines have jobs americans dont want? O_o. This is why i recomend traveling outside your own home and country from time to time. Americans didnt lose jobs they hated, they lost good paying Union jobs that defended their employees from inhuman working conditions. Americans literally fought for their work rights, as with most of the outside world, the chines are to weak to protest their government for better working conditions. So to make it easy for people to understand, China= terrible pay and work conditions, America= Middle Class pay with unions and good working conditions.

We are once again fighting for our rights. We citizians are fighting the establishment for a better furtur. This mentality and determinations is why we are the most powerful country on earth. We take the worlds bravist and most inteligint and leave the rest in their native countrys to ***** about the shield that keeps them safe.

Hmm maybe thats why these Euros are so anti-trump, he is going to make them pay for our protection

Its name recognition. Most People are too dumb and lazy to actually spend time learning about the candidates so they just put a mark next to the name they already know. Its the same reason that in many areas its so hard to kick incumbents out of congress no matter how bad they do.

Yes the Chinese have jobs that Americans don't want, why would an American work in inhuman conditions for twice as long as they should working a boring/difficult job for barely enough to feed his family?
You could hire multiple chinese people to do the job 1 american would do for the same amount of money, so why in their right mind would any capitalist try to move their business to america to start producing f.e fortune cookies in the US?
And yes, Americans lost their jobs because someone else could do them cheaper, no ****, that's what capitalism is.

Also citizens that are fighting for a future of making fortune cookies are idiots, taking Chinese jobs is either impossible or a really really bad idea. Besides, what are you fighting for now? American workers already have all the rights they need, correct me if I'm wrong.

For the record, Euros are NOT as anti trump as u think, in fact Euros are just as anti trump as the american media makes it seem, and you know how much that is, and how true it is. Don't succumb to CNN, Fox and whatever others there are on that side of the atlantic, Love, Europe <3. soccer>football
