Yeah I have only been playing for a 3 weeks and no madness. I've even pulled the tail from many a salamander. I feel like you must be AFKing or something.
Also does anyone have a source that sleeping in a bed no longer lowers insanity?

I'll ask John and get back to you guys with an official answer. I think everyone that is saying it doesn't is correct.

I suspect it fell out or was removed in the last patch - I got madness 1 after harvesting 18 fields just after logging in.

It helps if you character sleeps for 8 hours in a bed. It seems to work better in a house of somekind vs outside. There are a number of things you should not do like wring the necks of small critters ie turkeys and squirls. check the insanity section of the wiki there is a pretty good list there of things that increase your insanity gain.

No need to bother Mr. Carver. People just need to learn how to play this game. Madness is one of the easiest system to manage. But I must say I enjoy all the tears it is causing.

Well for not playing this plaid cape looks pretty nice on me. Thanks for the gift Heff. Thank you to the person why bought me out of the stocks but it was all for not since it the alt died today.
