russia is starting to be as amusing as north korea. cant believe they accuse the Ukrainian government of being a xenophobic, neo nazi coup. how can russians take their own government/propaganda seriously? Just the other day they publicly whipped ***** riot

anyway wont be any ww3, at most just another cold war.

Russia will absorb those citizens that have most in common with them... and in doing so take a significant economic junk from Ukraine's economy.

(It wasn't Russian culture that prompted the move- it's purely economic)... the 'new' PM said he was looking for a split up front before Russians invaded...that says a lot.

I think Obama is a hypocrite for speaking out about the situation...everything Putin as done is Obama's wet dream here in the US. How can the two be at odds? Obama is speaking for the formality only... and Putin knows it.

You asked for my take- I'd say Obama is filling the role of the idignant ruler... but he's really not that concerned... and less said the better... humm, who, now... can make a bigger splash and leave (Obama) out of it.. Clinton Library maybe... or continuing failure in Iran... helped by same Russians...we want to crucify...

What a bunch of p-pods waiting to become some idiot dream.

Enough-

If Obama will commit troups... it's a win for US; as-is just lessons our world power... watch prices climb on everything- blame? You can look in the mirror and blame yourself...

worthless all... and now immaterial. got to love how it works out. You only thought you were screwed over!

There are no winning situations for the Russians here. If they stay in Crimea, they will be hated by the world. If Putin leaves Crimea, Europe, Ukraine and the U.S. will always remember this betrayal and invasion. If Russia invades Eastern Ukraine the Russian economy collapses and Putin must occupy a hostile country. They can't occupy the whole country. Putin has made a huge mistake. Russian media is lying to you.
