Personally I like music from this century and think that anyone who has to go back 40 years for music is basically just lazy and doesn't get out to shows enough.

I've known of hawkwind since the 80's so don't think that you somehow introduced me to it.

Hawkwind's okay. I'm not a huge fan. I probably own 1 or 2 old vinyl albums of theirs buried somewhere.
