This sounds like the stuff that caused Ultima Online to be worse (bless deeds for hither thither and thine, Trammel, which was the "no nonconsentual PVP server, etc. Can you imagine that? "Oh, you can't fight me in this dungeon or anywhere unless I want to! Teehee!).

Except Haven and Hearth never had as much going for it as classic UO, nor the same amount of polish. And Good old Lord British does have some idiosyncratic ideas, too. It's not like everything he originally wanted or wants for games is exactly like what players want. Or a good idea, although a lot of it was.
