Seatribe does not own part of Salem. We left the server where it was in Sweden because moving it was unnecessary, so some things can affect both games.
You've been around long enough to know, but maybe you forgot? Jorb and Lofter started with Haven and it has always been their main game. Someone from Paradox thought Haven was fun but that it needed an upgrade to a more 3D environment and a few other changes and so Salem was born. Salem was originally meant to be a sort of Haven 2.0, but it kept changing and getting less like Haven and more like it's own thing. Paradox got impatient and mostly pulled out of the project. Mortal Moments came along and bought the game entirely, and Jorb and Loftar were free to put more effort into the next Haven update, which became a more true-to-the-original Haven 2.0.
And You've been around long enough to know,that hes called Loftar not Lofter.
