salem, whats new?

last time i played was during srpint this year i think, dont remember exactly, anyway, was wondering today, what changed since that, on salem?
in a couple words is the game any different that it was back then (content/mechanics/community)? or its just more game content

The big new thing to watch out for is the Insanity. Normal activities should prevent your character from going mad (and eventually dying if it builds high enough), but sometimes you just can't stop it from happening. Read more here: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=13907

Other than that, there has been the first expedition and the introduction of farm animals to the expedition server with a chance for people to send some home. There are other changes, but those are the big points.

As far as politics, I think it's been pretty much the same thing the last year or so.

Since you have left, nothing really has changed for your type of playstyle. The community size has decreased and became alot less fun, obviously due to your leaving.

authority objects are broken now....
trees seem to respawn leafs, pinecones and such MUCH slower.
you seem to gain madness levels much faster now :/
