As for this:

Dallane's bans are notoriously idiotic and have been overturned again and again.

I don't like it when people harass my mods so I'm going to publicly defend him for a moment. It's true, I've shortened a ban or two (not very many, certainly not 'again and again') into a few hours long "Calm Down" bans instead of two week punishment bans. These were bans put in place by Dallane because someone was slandering the devs and he felt they were going too far. While we do have a rule against excessive abuse, I try to apply it to us only rarely. Otherwise there would be a lot more bans caused just by the PMs I regularly get. :/
