[Poll]Providence: Dock Club Tournament

Postby thedarklore » Mon Aug 17, 2015 12:35 pm

Hello!
So I'm making this poll to check if people are intrested in player organised Dock Club events.
I'll add more details later in other post but for now there is only poll to check if it is worth it to make event or not.

Tried to host something simular, had to throw in quite abit of prices and still very few contestants. Had to come mainly down from friends, people just don't care enough it seems.

I don't think it's lack of caring. ..i think it's they would rather not through their character away. On Sundays, they have greater protection because the devs well through your body in the pin, but all a chance they can miss out and you end up dead...BUT private tournaments you can be held in combat and killed for what? Players cannot provide a prize worth the risk, even on an alt. Some people have mains smaller than others alts. ..lol.

Just my two cents.

But would be great to see.

meh, we had the candygang arena in roa were no such guarantees were around either, and people DID fight there (even if it was on alts).

I think their appetite has just been sated by the dev-hosted fight arena events.

either that or now they're spoiled by the relative safety of dev-hosted events.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

We did gaurantee everyones safety and everything was naked gear-wise. Either way, something like this would be OK, assuming you can get some people to join you every time but I am afraid that it will require significant amounts of planning.

KKK guaranteeing safety, its like saying JC will never bring a patch that immediately crashes the game ¦]
