It looks nothing like rust tbh and as a 700h+ rust player i will not try it.

All it looks like is a pvp on a ship vs ship game built in unity. Unless they add huge survival elements and building huge bases onland to oneday build boats to travel the seas, it will never be like rust.

There are 100's of games that LOOK LIKE rust, Meaning they are built in unity.

Apparently they've just released the combat alpha. They were talking about it in another forum where it would be a sort of 100 person server where you'd have an island where people would have shoreline bases to build their boats and compete for resources on the island, sort of like rust and then after the boats were built they'd go and fight with them on the ocean, with death respawns on the boats. If the boat sank the players would have to go and build another one.

It uses Unity and the guys were Rust modders somehow. Sorry for any confusion.

Ark is pretty decent except the way its made you really need to play in a group and the grind for levels to build anything decent is huge. The game really is a Grind.
